Policies

Free England has a vision for a new England. An England that is healthy, well-educated, and  free to govern herself. To achieve this, we would introduce the following:

1.  Investment in projects and enterprises to help England become a world leader in science and technology.

2. Suspension of immigration until the current mess is rectified, regaining of national borders, faster deportation of illegal immigrants and released foreign prisoners, those who are considered dangerous by the security services, and failed asylum seekers.

3.  An effective English state pension so that our senior citizens can retire comfortably.

4. The introduction of a Medicare scheme to improve the nation's health, working on the principle, prevention is better than cure.

5. Creation of trade training colleges for students of 14 and upwards, creation of sports colleges. Free university education and introduction of grants.

6. Increased prison capacity, full term sentences served by convicted criminals, abolition of the parole board, mandatory sentences for offences such as burglary and drink driving, introduction of cumulative sentencing, zero tolerance on crime and criminals.

7. Exploration of all renewable energy usages to reduce the nation's dependency on fossil fuels, with the aim of making England totally self-sufficient in energy requirements. We intend to create a cleaner, greener England.

8. Improved public transport schemes, including tram and light rail systems. Re-nationalisation of public transport where practical to ensure public transport is run as a service not a business.

9. Strategic location of government projects to areas of high unemployment, such as the MoD, the Royal Mint and the DVLA.

10. Proper funding in equipment and training for our armed forces.

11. Construction of affordable housing.

12. Assistance for the reconstruction of our fishing industry after departure from the EU, support for our farmers to help build an efficient and effective farming industry.

13. Reform of the tax system, help for the creation of small businesses, English ownership of strategic English businesses such as energy and water. Tax cut of 2p in the £ on departure from the EU.

14. Creation of a social market economy with high economic growth, low inflation, reduced national debt, low unemployment, and efficient public services.

15. Establishment of closer trading links with EFTA  (European Free Trade Association), NAFTA (North American Free Trade Agreement),  and the Commonwealth.

16. The creation of a sovereign English nation state, the formation of a governmental system with an elected upper and lower house, a Constitution, and a Bill of Rights. Fixed term 4 year parliaments. We support a referendum on any constitutional change to the United Kingdom.

This list is by no means inexhaustible, but gives an outline of our principle policies.

Failure to invest in our country is not an option. We possess a large economy, but the taxes generated by it are wasted and given away. For example, every year, £20 bn is spent on subsidising the United Kingdom, £30 bn on British government inefficiency,  £4 bn on foreign wars, not to mention the untold billions on the cost of membership of the EU. We believe these resources should be spent on English public services, tax cuts and pensions.  The establishment of a vibrant, wealth-creating private sector is vital for the production of  taxes to pay for good public services.

We are a party of positive action. Our guiding principles are the liberation of our nation and working for the greater good of our people. Why not join us and help build a new and better England?
