Andrew Constantine

Andrew Constantine is a co-founder of the party. Born in Yorkshire, he is 52 years old and married with children. Andrew says that the Free England Party is already leading the campaign for English Independence, and hopes that this website will be a rallying point for the English nation in its fight to regain our national Independence and parliamentary democracy. Andrew welcomes those from the other home nations, noting that as Alex Salmond has said "The Scots and the English should be the best of chums" and extends this by welcoming all who love their nation and who will fight for democracy.

Richard Aitkins

Richard Aitkins is the Party Secretary and has been involved in politics for a number of years. He stood for the party in May 2008's local government elections and gained 11.6% of the vote. Richard is a history graduate from the Open University and currently works as a Service Manager for an engineering company. |

Chris Ready

Chris Ready is the Party Treasurer and was born in Barnet, Hetfordshire, in 1958. He is a Marketing Consultant and has three chidren, including a son at university. Chris had no prior interest in politics until 1997, when the Labour Party came to power. |

Debbie le May

Debbie le May has been a writer for over 20 years, mainly on local newspapers and magazines, with some public relations work. She is currently a freelance journalist and regularly works as relief editor/sub-editor with several local newspapers, following almost two years as editor of a glossy county magazine.
She is a member of The Queen’s English Society and a former member of British Mensa. Debbie is in her 20th year as a local councillor and stood for Parliament in the 2005 General Election. She has three adult children and a young grandson.

David Owens

David was born in Liverpool. Aged 54, he is married with children & grandchildren. He served in the British Army for 6 years, and completed several tours of Northern Ireland. Following his Army carer, he worked in the security industry and as accounts manager.
He then re-trained after redundancy as Adult Education Tutor. David has a BA & Masters Degree in English Social History. David wrote the book entitled 'A History of the English Working Class, 1346-1914'.

Martin Thompson

Martin had no previous interest in politics prior to 2002, but Labour's devolution, which resulted in parliaments and assemblies for all home nations except England, realised something had to be done. He then joined the English Democrats Party, campaigning for an English Parliament. In 2004 and 2006, he contested the council elections in Fawdon, Newcastle upon Tyne, finishing a creditable third both times.
In 2008, he again finished third in Fawdon, but with his best ever result of 12.43% standing for the Free England Party

Rosalind Constantine

Rosalind Constantine (wife of Andrew) was brought up in Cheshire. Ros read economics at York, qualified as an accountant and is now a financial controller for a major US IT company. Ros is the party's London organiser and is keeping a close eye on the constituency seat of Twickenham where she and Andrew live. |
